Representatives of each element (water, fire, air, earth) consecrated and cleansed
Holy Water
Candles for each cardinal direction
One White Candle*

CASTING

1.  Ground and Center.
2.  Set the candles at the directions and light them. Lighters are suggested because the sulfer in matches can pollute the air.
3.  Start at the north (where your altar is placed; if your altar is placed to the east, west, or south, start there).
    a.  Carry your first element representative around the circle deosil three times. Be sure that your elements have been cleansed and consecrated beforehand. While carrying around the elements, recite so:

    O, Creature of (element),
    I ask you to open this circle
    To protect and oversee this work of magick
    So Mote it Be.

4.  Call the Quarters*
5.  Go about your business.

CLOSING

6.  Close the Circle
    a.  Walk three times widdershins round the circle.
    b.  Dismiss the Quarters*
    c.  Recite:
   
    O, Circle, endless and pure
    I close thee, but may you never be broken
    So Mote it Be.

7.  Clean up!
